Hello, everyone.
Thanks for visiting my website! I am a active data scientist and research team leader in the financial technology space. I practice portfolio risk management, credit score modeling, and analytical marketing methods in my day-to-day work. I direct the analytics efforts (risk/marketing) at Idea Financial (#ChargeForward)

I am also adjunct faculty at both the Business School at Florida International University (Go Panthers!) and at the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami (Go Canes!). I teach statistics to undergraduate juniors and seniors.

My research in psychology has focused on evolutionary processes as relates to attraction and group membership, and my research in statistics focused on computational methods of estimating random effects in the context of hierarchical linear models and decomposing interactions at their point of statistical significance (a variant of the Johnson-Neyman technique).
My training in psychology and statistics prepared me for a life of both industry and academic pursuits. I value both equally.
